Comment on Wikipedia Text: summary of general observations

. . . in referece to the wikipedia text, summary of general observations It is probably incorrect to say that the shroud is composed by flax fibrils entwined with cotton fibrils. In 1973, Gilbert Raes, found cotton fibers in the thread in one corner of the shroud; a corner known as the Raes corner. The supposition was, therefore, that all of the cloth contained cotton. However, it is now known that this area of the cloth is chemically unlike the rest of the cloth. In addition to cotton, there are also madder root dyes, alum and spliced threads; not found elsewhere on the cloth. Loose cotton fibers, possibly form examining gloves, have been found everywhere on the cloth, but thread with entwined cotton has not been found except in the Raes corner.

The other descriptive material is probably quite accurate
