Comment on Wikipedia Text: Using a Bas-Relief

. . . in referece to the wikipedia text, Using a Bas-Relief this theory like the paint theory is lacking for many reasons.

The last sentence which reads, "Instead of painting, the bas-relief could also be heated and used to burn an image into the cloth" is completely incorrect. Time and again, it has been shown that the image is not the result of a scorch. If the image was a scorch, changes in the structure of the flax fibers and blood would be visible. The cellulose crystals are largely undistorted proving that they were not scorched.

See a bas-relief rubbing does not make sense given new awareness of cloth's age

the image plots to 3d terrain map; a photograph will not plot such a 3D representation

faint second face on backside of cloth; not possible with photograph
