D Fact - A woman came to him with an alabaster jar
"A woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table." (Mat 26:7); "When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial." (Mat 26:12). Less than 48 hours before his crucifixion, the hair of Jesus was anointed with a very valuable oil and this fact must be considered for an hypothesis about the TS [Shroud of Turin] image formation (Scheuermann 1984).
