"After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep." (1. Cor. 15:6) Paul has written this letter in the year 53-55. The time is too short (eyewitnesses) that all this might be an invention without historical nucleus (Felzmann 2003).
